IN LINE with the push for human re-design, came a flood of products to support the period of Libertarianism we passed through in the mid to late 22nd century. The erotics industry rose in prominence and legitimacy, catering for all tastes without question.
Popular in the infancy of the culture were living masks and full-body suits for masquerade gatherings and fetish use. Plate 29 shows one of the earliest living masks, which was purely functional in mid-21st century cities to cope with pollution and the need to breathe. The habitual wearing of such may have pushed the masquerade culture as citizens grew weary of looking so drab because of mere smog.
We also held a small collection of first-edition and prototype passive stimulators, shown here on plates 30 and 31.
