This blog may be a little different from other blogs. It is not a life-stream like so many, but is the blog-based-on-the-books of Terence Bumbly and is not sorted newest to oldest. The entries contain the entire text of the books divided into natural chunks.
Call it humour, call it philosophy, science-fiction or speculative fiction — it is simply Bumbly and for everyone who likes thinking as a past time in and of itself.
How to read the book
Each entry taken from the books has been tagged as “Museum of Unnatural History” or “Bumbly Goes Forth” and also by the chapter it belongs to. Entries should come up in the book order, rather than newest to oldest, but clicking on the various tags will gather a subject-based collection of entries.
There are also links on the sides to purchasing a hard copy of the books, or ebook or a version for your mobile. Let us know if we’ve missed any formats you’d like to see it available in.
Can I link to your content?
Sure, its not like we can stop you. Just credit appropriately and link back — and tell us, because we’d like to know what you think and where we can read your writings.
Can I use the pictures?
Yeah, okay. Please credit DM Henley as the illustrator and which book they’re from if you have room and please let us know where we can see it. Creative Commons agreement applies, ie ask first before using in profit-making commercial exercises.
Isn’t there a drawing contest to win free books?
There is. Its on Facebook, like it or not. Its a biannual competition, closing every six months (August 30th and February 28th). The page is focussed on the first Bumbly book The Museum of Unnatural History so you just have to draw something weird for your chance to win a collectors copy of the book.
Who made this site?
This is a Typepad hosted blog, made by Xou in collaboration with the author Terence Bumbly.
